WHEREAS, after a duly noticed public hearing held June 10, 2010, where evidence and <br /> testimony were entered into the record, including the findings in the Louisville Planning <br /> Commission Staff Report dated June 10, 2010, the Louisville Planning Commission has <br /> recommended the City Council approve the amendments to the Louisville Municipal Code set <br /> forth in this ordinance; and <br /> WHEREAS, City Council has reviewed the recommendation of the Louisville Planning <br /> Commission and the recent parking study, and desires to amend the Louisville Municipal Code; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, City Council has provided notice of a public hearing on said ordinance by <br /> publication as provided by law and held a public hearing as provided in said notice; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> Section 1. Section 17.12.060 of the Louisville Municipal Code is hereby amended to <br /> read as follows (words to be deleted are shown in stFikeout; words to be added are underlined): <br /> Sec. 17.12.060. Maximum floor area, Westerly portion of Downtown <br /> Louisville <br /> Within the area designated as the westerly portion of Downtown Louisville, as <br /> defined in chapter 17.08, the maximum floor area shall be 475.000 354 <br /> square feet. No development shall be permitted within the westerly portion of <br /> Downtown Louisville once a maximum floor area of 475,000 354 square feet <br /> has been achieved within such area. To the extent that this section establishes a <br /> requirement which conflicts with a yard and bulk requirement set forth in any <br /> other applicable section of Title 17, the specific requirement of this section shall <br /> control. Any determination of maximum floor area for purposes of this section <br /> shall exclude the square footage of buildings owned by the city at the time of such <br /> determination. <br /> Section 2. Subsection A of Section 17.20.025 of the Louisville Municipal Code is <br /> hereby amended to read as follows (words to be deleted are shown in strikeout; words to be <br /> added are underlined, including the addition of the residential parking chart): <br /> A. Within Downtown Louisville, at the time of any building construction, <br /> expansion or modification that creates additional floor area, off street parking <br /> spaces shall be provided at a ratio of one parking space per 500 400 square <br /> feet of all nonresidential new floor area rounded to nearest 500 400 square <br /> feet.
