This Bond may be transferred upon the registration books upon delivery to the Bond Registrar of this Bo n d , accompanied by a written i ns t r ume n t or instruments of transfer in form and with guaranty of s ig na tur e satisfactory to the City and the Bond Registrar, duly exe cuted by the owner of this Bond or his attorney-in-fact or I eg a I representative, containing written instructions as to the details of the transfer of the Bond, a long with the so cia 1 secur i ty number or federal employer identification number of such transferee. In the eve n t of the transfer of this Bond, the Bond Registrar shall enter the transfer of ownership in the registration books and shall authen- ticate and deliver in the name of the transferee or transferees a new full y registered Bond in the denomination of $5,000, of the same ma tur i ty , s eq ue n t i al number, and interest rate wh i c h the registered owner is entitled to rece i ve at the earliest pr a c- ticable time. The sequential numbers shall r ema in the same foI- l owi ng each transfer of ownership, i.e., R-l will be reissued as R-lA, then R-lB, etc. The Bond Registrar shall charge the owner of this Bond for every such transfer an amount sufficient to re im- burse it for its reasonable fees and for any tax or other gover nmen tal charge required to be pa id with respect to such transfer. - 31 -
