<br /> ORDINANC E NO. g9tJ <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVI NG THE COST OF THE <br /> IMPROVEMENTS TO BE MADE IN SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT <br /> DISTRICT NO. 1986-1, IN THE CITY OF <br /> LOUISVI LLE, COLORADO; APPROVING AND CONFIRMING <br /> THE APPORTIONMENT OF SAID COST TO EACH LOT OR <br /> TRACT OF LAND IN THE DISTRICT; ASSESSING A <br /> SHARE OF SAID COST AGAINST EACH LOT OR TRACT <br /> OF LAND IN THE DISTRICT: AND PRESCRIBING THE <br /> MANNER FOR THE COLLECTION AND PA YMENT OF SAID <br /> ASSESSMENTS. <br /> WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 882, passed and adopted on <br />March 4, 1986, the City Counc il (the " Co un c i I " ) of the City of <br />Louisville, Colorado (the "City"), created Spec i al Improvement <br />District No. 1986-1 (the "District"), for the purpose of paying <br />for local improvements to be constructed in the District: and <br /> WHEREAS, the total cost of such improvements has been <br />definitely ascertained, and a statement of expense s and an <br />assessment roll apportioning such costs have been prepared and <br />filed in the office of the City Clerk: and <br /> WHEREAS, due notice was given that the Counc il wo ul d <br />meet to hear and consider objections to the assessment roll on <br />this date, and that any complaints or objections which may be made <br />in wr i ting by the prope rty owners or any citizen to the Council, <br />and filed in writing on or prior to the date of the hearing, wo u I d <br />be heard and de termined by the Council before the passage of any <br />ordinance assessing the cost of said improvements: and <br /> HHEREAS, the re were no objections to the asse ssmen t <br />roll: and <br /> WHEREAS, from the statement filed with the City Clerk, <br />it appears that the total cost of the improvements is $1,600,000, <br />that no port ion thereof is to be paid by the City, and that the <br />portion thereof which should be assessed against the real property <br />specially benefited and included within the District is <br />$1,600,000: and <br /> WHEREAS, the Council has apportioned a share of the cost <br />to each lot or tract of land in the District, in accordance with <br /> - 47 - <br />
