<br /> . <br /> 13.0B.120 - Wasting of water, is prohibited and all <br /> consumers shall prevent unnecessary waste of water and keep all water <br /> outlets closed when not in actual use. Hydrants, urinals, water i <br /> closets, bathtubs, and other openings must not be left running for <br /> any purpose other than the use for which they were intended. <br /> Section 5. Sections 13.12.010, 13.12.020 ( C) , 13.12.090 of <br /> the Louisville Municipal Code are hereby repealed. ; <br /> . '. <br /> Section 6 . The following sections are hereby added to <br /> Chapter 13.12, Title 13 of the Louisville Municipal Code: <br /> 13.12.020 ill - The amount of the tap fee for residential <br /> units shall be the greater of either of the following: <br /> l. The amount determined by use procedures set forth in <br /> the Uniform Plumbing Code as set forth in this Chapter; or <br /> 2 . Water tap fees for each multi-family unit shall be <br /> based upon the above point system, however, the minimum tap fee paid <br /> for each multi-family unit after payment in full for the first tap <br /> issued shall be sixty percent (60%) of the existing charge for a <br /> three-quarter inch ( 3 l 4 " ) tap. <br /> 13.12.0BO - Bulk Water Charges. Water service not <br /> supplied to a specific property location by a standard tap shall be <br /> paid as follows: The bulk water user shall pay an annual permit fee <br /> of $100.00 plus the sum of $1.50 per thousand gallons used, or said <br /> user may pay on the same basis as those customers served by meter as <br /> set forth under this Chapter. In such event the customer shall <br /> request meter service, pay a proper deposit for the meter and also <br /> pay to the City the cost of setting the meter. <br /> 13.12.090 - Metered Service. All new taps installed <br /> within or without the City shall be installed with a meter provided <br /> by the City. For water sold by the City, the following rates shall <br /> apply: <br /> A. Inside Meter Rates. The rates for water usage shall be <br /> as set forth in the following table: <br /> Zero - 9,000 gal. $8.10 (minimum monthly charge) <br /> 9,001 - 15,000 $8.10 for the first 9,000 gallons, <br /> plus $ .95 for each additional <br /> 1,000 gallons (or fractions <br /> thereof) <br /> 15,001 - 20,000 $13.80 for the first 15,000 <br /> gallons, plus $1.00 for each <br /> additional 1,000 gallons <br /> (or fraction thereof) <br /> -3- <br />
