Cityo <br />6 f <br />Louisville <br />COLORADO • SINCE 1878 <br />City Council <br />Economic Vitality Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />Friday, December 15, 2023 <br />Regular Meeting <br />1. Call to Order: Chair Leh called the meeting to order at 1:03 PM. <br />2. Roll Call: The following members of the City Council were present: Chair <br />Dickinson, Councilmember Fahey and Councilmember Kern. Also present were <br />Deputy City Manager Samma Fox, Community Development Director Rob <br />Zuccaro, Interim Economic Vitality Manager Austin Brown, Sustainability <br />Manager Kayla Betzold, Sustainability Specialist Hannah Miller, Finance <br />Director Ryder Bailey, and Revenue & Sales Tax Manager Travis Anderson. <br />Five members of the public were present. <br />3. Approval of Agenda: Councilmember Kern made a motion to approve the <br />agenda as presented. The motion was seconded by Councilmember Fahey. <br />Motion passed. <br />4. Approval of Meeting Minutes: Councilmember Fahey made a motion to <br />approve the meeting minutes of October 27, 2023. The motion was seconded <br />by Councilmember Kern. Motion passed. <br />5. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda: <br />Public comment from Rick Kron: Mr. Kron thanked the City for its help and <br />support with Old Town Skate, the downtown ice skating rink. Mr. Kron <br />concluded his comments by noting that the Downtown Business Association <br />(DBA) has submitted a request to City Council to consider closing Main Street <br />to vehicular traffic. <br />Public comment from Lexi Adler: Ms. Adler noted that as the chair of the <br />Louisville Revitalization Commission, she is excited to work together with the <br />EVC over the next year. <br />Councilmember Dickinson responded that the EVC, LRC, DBA, and Chamber <br />of Commerce often find themselves dealing with the same issues and <br />encouraged continued collaboration between the groups. <br />Councilmember Kern commented that Finance will be starting to audit Louisville <br />businesses over the first quarter of 2024.
