L: Cityof ECONOMIC VITALITY COMMITTEE <br />Louisville <br />COLORADO • SINCE 1878 <br />SUBJECT: STAFF UPDATES <br />DATE: JANUARY 19, 2024 <br />PRESENTED BY: AUSTIN BROWN, ECONOMIC VITALITY SPECIALIST <br />SUMMARY: <br />In the following, staff provides updates on recent activity related to core economic <br />vitality functions. <br />Energy Code Update <br />An Electric Vehicle (EV) charging update will be going to Planning Commission in <br />February. It's anticipated that the EV update will go to Council in March along with a <br />proposed building code update. <br />Downtown Vision Plan <br />There will be an Open House for the Downtown Vision Plan in late January. This event <br />will be an opportunity for the general public to engage with the project. The consultant <br />team is also planning to begin engaging with Louisville Boards and Commissions in <br />February. <br />Comprehensive Plan Update <br />The Comprehensive Plan update is getting started with a public launch anticipated for <br />early 2024. The project team will be introducing the project and asking for feedback <br />from City Boards and Commissions from January — March 2024. Input from these <br />meetings will supplement broader public engagement.
