CITY OF LOUISVILLE <br />HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION No. 1 <br />SERIES 2005 <br />A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A LANDMARK APPLICATION <br />FOR THE LOUISVILLE HISTORICAL MUSEUM AT 1001 MAIN STREET <br />WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the Louisville Historic Preservation <br />Commission an historic landmark application for the Louisville Historical Museum. 1001 <br />Main Street; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Staff has reviewed the information submitted and found it to <br />comply with Historic Preservation Chapter 15.36 of the Louisville Municipal Code, <br />including Section 15.36.050 and other applicable sections of the Louisville Municipal <br />Code; and <br />WHEREAS, after a duly noticed public hearing on August 8, where evidence and <br />testimony was entered into the record, including the findings in the Louisville Historic <br />Preservation Commission Staff Report dated August 8; <br />WHEREAS, the Historic Preservation Commission has found that the application <br />meets the criteria set forth in Ordinance No. 1463, Series 2005, Section 15.36.050. <br />Specifically, the site displays both architecture and social historic significance as <br />defined in the ordinance.
