RESOLUTION NO. 26, <br />SERIES 2002 <br />A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING THE RATIFICATION OF CITY COUNCIL <br />ORDINANCE 1400, SERIES 2002, AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 17.56.070 <br />OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE TO ADOPT AN UPDATED FLOOD <br />INSURANCE RATE MAP FOR THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE <br />WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the Louisville Planning Commission an <br />Ordinance that amends certain sections of Chapter 17 of the Louisville Municipal Code (LMC) <br />pertaining to the Flood Insurance Rate Map for the City of Louisville; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has been advised by the Federal Emergency Management <br />Agency (FEMA) that the City's floodplain regulations must be amended to adopt FEMA's <br />updated flood insurance study and Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) for the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the City by this ordinance desires to adopt such updated study and map <br />and amend its floodplain regulations accordingly; and <br />WHEREAS, after a duly noticed public hearing on October 1, 2002, with the <br />Louisville City Council where evidence and testimony were entered into the record, and; <br />WHEARAS, after a review of the Ordinance by the Planning Commission, they find it <br />appropriate to ratify Ordinance 1400, Series 2002. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Louisville, Colorado does hereby ratify Ordinance 1400, Series 2002. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of October 2002. <br />By: <br />Attest: <br />Debra S.
