The LRC approved <br />the request and entered into a rebate agreement with the property owner that <br />authorizes a 90% rebate of the tax increment on the property for up to 10 years, or until <br />the total rebate payments reach $200,000. <br />Staff will be presenting a proposed Property Improvement Program to the LRC during <br />its February meeting. The purpose of the program is encourage reuse of existing <br />buildings, resulting in a reduction of blight and vacancies while activating and adding <br />vibrancy to the urban renewal area. Interior improvements including tenant finish, ADA <br />compliance, flooring, lighting, and walls are all proposed to be eligible for <br />reimbursement through the program. <br />ATTACHMENT(S): <br />None. <br />Agenda Packet P. 9 <br />
