<br /> ORDINANCE NO. 874 <br /> ...;..;....---- <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 3 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE <br /> CREATING A CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS FUND AND MERGING THE SERVICE <br /> EXPANSION FUND, PARKS AND RECREATION FUND AND MAJOR THOROUGHFARE <br /> FUND INTO THE NEWLY CREATED CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Louisville currently has several fees <br />and funds for construction of capital improvements within the City; <br />and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Louisville <br />believes that the City would benefit economically by combining these <br />fees and funds into a capital improvement fund; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council believes such fund will be <br />economically beneficial to the City and enable projects to be <br />completed more easily on a priority basis. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> Section l. Chapters 3 .16, 3.24, and 3.28 of the Louisville <br />Municipal Code are hereby repealed. <br /> Section 2 . The following Chapter is hereby added to Title <br />3 of the Louisville Municipal Code: <br /> 3 .16 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS FEE AND FUND <br /> 3.16.010 Definitions. For purposes of this Chapter, the <br />following definitions shall apply: <br /> A. " Accessory structure" means a structure incident <br />or subordinate to the main use of the property including, but not <br />limited to, garages, patios and tool sheds. <br /> B. "Building" means any structure, other than public <br />structures, without reference to use or occupancy for which a <br />building permit is required by the provisions of this code. <br /> C . "Building Official" means the officer charged <br />with the administration and enforcement of the Uniform Building Code, <br />as adopted by the City, or his regularly authorized deputy. <br /> D. "Contractor" means any person, firm, partnership, <br />joint venture, or corporation required to obtain a building permit <br />under Title 15 , adopting by reference the Uniform Building Code, or <br />any city ordinance adopting subsequent editions of the Uniform <br />Building Code. <br />
