tea% Boulder Valley
V Public Schools
6500 Arapahoe. P.O. Box 9011
Boulder, Colorado 80301
(303) 447-1010
March 24, 1995
Mr. Paul S. Wood, Planning Director
City of Louisville
749 Main Street
Louisville, Colorado 80027
RE: Louisville Campus Annexation and Zoning Request
Dear Mr. Wood:
Operational Mrvtcss
Submitted herein please find the initial application forms and exhibits necessary to request
annexation and zoning to the City of Louisville. The subject parcel contains approximately
eighty acres and is located along the east side of 88th street approximately 1/2 north of U.S.
Highway 36. Currently zoned A - Agricultural in Boulder County, the District intends to develop
a kindergarten thru twelfth grade educational campus consistent with the stated purpose of the
Planned Community Zone District. A general development plan is included for your analysis and
additional information on site development plans and utility and roadway information will be
provided after annexation as the campus plan is more fully developed. It is intended that the
development plans, infrastructure information, design guidelines and District off -site obligations
will be the basis of an intergovernmental agreement between the District and the City. As such,
the District proposes to substitute the IGA for the annexation agreement.
The requested annexation and zoning are consistent with your City's adopted south sub area -
comprehensive plan update dated February 1, 1994. Action statements contained within the
comprehensive plan allow for development of school facilities within this sub -area.
If you should have any questions concerning this submittal please feel free to call me at 447-
5062. I look forward working with the City to bring these exciting educational and community
facilities into Louisville.
Sincerely,
Don Orr
Director of Planning
•
a.
•
VIAR 3 01995 '-
