Planning Commission Meeting Minutes FEBRUARY 23, 2006 Page 5 of 7 Commission Comments and Requests for Additional Information: Lipton requested a discussion by the Commissioner that would provide direction to staff and the applicant for issues that they need to address at the next hearing for this project. Deborski requested density that is not above the entitlements and more detail of the planned buffer between Louisville and Lafayette. Pritchard requested information on the following: how the trail system between the two communities would function; more detail of the parks; P A #2 should be designed with additional green space; and a plan for how to deal with the additional traffic at Paschal and HWY 42. Lipton stated there are several things he likes about the project. He would like to have more information on the following: where are the regional recreation fields (Louisville and Lafayette); the relationship between the two communities by comparing lot sizes, house styles, etc.; more details for the buffer between Louisville and Lafayette; a review of the Comp Plan and the number of units that was proposed for this area; and a clearer understand of the transition from Lafayette's single family homes to the Louisville higher density area. Loo requested more discussion of density and the reasoning for the dedication of Hecla Reservoir as part of the open space dedication for the project. Dalton stated that his special interest requests had already been mentioned. Hartman also stated that her requests for additional information had already been addressed. She continued by stating that she likes the mix of density and the connections that are being planned for with Balfour. Lipton requested a discussion of Planning Commissioner availability for future meeting dates. Pritchard stated that he would not be available for a meeting on March 16, 2006. All others reported no conflicts. Dalton moved and Sheets seconded a motion to continue the public hearing to March 16, 2006. Motion passed by voice vote.
