<br /> <br />CITY OF LOUISVILLE <br /> <br />November 27, 2001 City Council Study Session <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Louisville met in a study session in the meeting room of the Louisville <br />Public Library, 950 Spruce Street, Louisville, Colorado. The following persons were present - <br /> <br />City Council: Mayor Tom Davidson, Mayor Pro-tem Chuck Sisk, <br />Tom Mayer, Arnold Levihn, John Keany, Don Brown <br /> <br />Staff Present: Bill Simmons, City Manager <br /> Keith Williams, Interim Parks & Recreation Director <br />Belinda Goebel, Administrative Assistant <br /> <br /> <br />A proposed work session schedule to discuss the following topics was reviewed: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Implementing Home Rule <br /> <br /> <br />Five Year Capital Plan <br /> <br /> <br />Highway 42 Revitalization Area <br /> <br /> <br />RFQ for City-wide Trash Collection <br /> <br /> <br />Downtown parking plan, parking improvement fee, gateway & signs <br />th <br /> <br /> <br />County Road connection to new Hwy 42/96 Street bypass <br /> <br /> <br />City facilities needs assessments & financing options <br /> <br /> <br />New City Council Ward boundaries <br /> <br /> <br />Weeds, minimum fence & residential building maintenance standards <br /> <br /> <br />Board & Commission interviews <br /> <br /> <br />Meeting with Lafayette City Council and other governing bodies from neighboring <br />communities <br /> <br />Council directed staff to provide an update on the status of negotiations with the Boulder Valley <br />School District regarding a joint sharing agreement for a pool, traffic issues, & utilities. <br /> <br />Several potential community park locations were reviewed. Council agreed that the best location <br />for a community park would be the ten-acre parcel on the south end of County Line Road. <br />Parking & amenities were discussed. <br /> <br /> <br /> 1 <br /> <br />
