SSSUM 2002 09 10 <br />Ray Pittman suggested having an unbiased, third party review of their proposed plans and study <br />information. <br /> <br />Mayor Davidson directed staff to prepare a proposal for Council’s review for a study that identifies <br />all impacts on the City of Louisville revenues. This would be a broad-ranging study to cover revenue <br />and impact on facilities. <br /> <br />Tom Mayer suggested reviewing the scope of work at an upcoming study session. <br /> <br />Chuck Sisk disagreed, stating that the City needs to expand the RFP and move forward. He <br />questioned the need to repeat tonight’s discussions without additional information. <br /> <br />John Keany asked to hear Carter Burgess’ comments. <br /> <br />Representatives from Carter Burgess explained that the whole intent was to provide a sound analysis <br />of the area to the City and asked for the level of detail that Council would like their questions <br />answered. <br /> <br />Mayor Davidson suggested that the next Steering Committee meeting be delayed to allow Carter <br />Burgess time to bring their proposal to the next Steering Committee meeting after hearing City <br />Council Comments. <br /> <br />Don Brown disagreed that the meeting be delayed. He suggested Carter Burgess have a draft <br />proposal ready for review at the next Steering Committee meeting. <br /> <br />Discussion/Direction – Prioritization of Capital Improvement Projects & City Council Goals <br />Council reviewed the 2003 – 2007 Capital Improvement Program. Charlene Laus explained that <br />much of the Council’s requests and priorities have been integrated into the new plan. Bill Simmons <br />explained that the goal is to have a 2003 draft budget available for review at the October 8 Study <br />Session. <br /> <br /> <br /> 5 <br /> <br />
