Monday, February 16, 2004
Mayor Chuck Sisk
749 Main Street
Louisville, CO 80027
Dear Mayor Sisk,
I am interested in serving on the Louisville Horticulture & Forestry Advisory Board. As a resident of
Louisville for over eighteen years, I have observed the growth and change in Louisville, and recognize
the need fora thoughtful, professional plan for the future of our trees. Although I am not a professional
horticulturist, I completed the Master Gardener program through the CSU Extension Service in 1991, and
I have many years of experience as a home gardener. Through my current position at Botanical
Interests, Inc, a seed packet company in Broomfield, I have also gained valuable knowledge regarding
soil preparation, drought tolerance, and plant disease and pest control.
I believe Louisville's "green assets" are vital to the community, and would like the opportunity to help
preserve them.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Ellen oon t"
404 W Eisenhower Dr
Louisville, CO 80027
(h)303 673 -0852
(w)303 464 -6464
ellent @botanicalinterests.com
p 2004
