Statement of Purpose
Citizens for Community Television
Citizens for Community Television advocates independent television, and
produces content for community access television in Louisville, Colorado. We
believe that independent, non - commercial free speech is the basis of a democracy
and that democracy is facilitated in a community where the full diversity of its
voices can be heard.
Citizens for Community Television produces programs on arts, politics,
culture, and activities of the Louisville community, the state of Colorado, the US
national level, and the globe. Programming is strictly non - commercial and
emphasizes ideas and community activities. We strive to broadcast topics that
cover the full range of interests of the citizens of Louisville. Consequently
programming as a whole is inclusive of the age, race, gender, religious, and
political groups that comprise the city of Louisville.
Citizens for Community Television is a group of volunteers who produce
original programming or air programming from other sources outside of the
group. Volunteer positions are open to all members of the community.
CCTV 5 3/4/04
