City Council <br /> Special Meeting Minutes <br /> June 22, 2010 <br /> Page 7 of 7 <br /> Mayor Pro Tem Marsella complimented Staff on the budget presentations. <br /> Mayor Sisk complimented Staff on presenting the pros and cons of projects. He <br /> noted Council will have to make some tough decisions. <br /> City Manager Fleming thanked Finance Director Watson and all the directors for <br /> putting the budget together and noted it is a collaborative effort. <br /> Review of Budget Calendar <br /> The following dates and key steps were outlined for Council consideration. <br /> October 5, 2010 City Manager's Recommended Budget <br /> Presented to City Council at a Regular <br /> Meeting Set Public Hearing <br /> October 19, 2010 City Council Conducts Public Hearing on <br /> Revised Recommended Budget <br /> November 1, 2010 City Council is presented with Resolutions to <br /> adopt the 2011 Budget, Appropriate Funds, <br /> and Levy Taxes <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> Bruce Becker, 533 Coal Creek Lane, Louisville, CO congratulated the Mayor, <br /> City Council and the City's management team, however voiced his concern on <br /> the City's current spending, which has moved into a deficit position. He <br /> suggested instead of being optimistic, consider the worst case scenario. He <br /> voiced his disappointment with the City's financial situation and stated he would <br /> not support a use tax. <br /> ADJOURN <br /> MOTION: Councilor Clabots moved for adjournment, seconded by Councilor <br /> Dalton.
