Award Contract to Decor Inc. for Recreation Center Vinyl Floor <br /> Replacement <br /> PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> Alan Sobel, 1408 Kennedy, Louisville, CO, continued his filibuster he began on April 6th <br /> which addressed the City's policy to protect large corporate interests operating in <br /> Louisville. He questioned a Council procedure, where a Council member may reply to a <br /> citizen comment, but the citizen isn't given an opportunity to respond again until the next <br /> meeting. He read portions of Ordinance No. 1489, Series 2006, which outlined the <br /> cable Customer Service Standards. <br /> COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON THE <br /> AGENDA <br /> Mayor Sisk reported City of Lafayette Mayor Chris Cameron has resigned and is moving <br /> her family to Washington. He thanked her for her work with the City of Lafayette and the <br /> Metro Mayor's Caucus, where she was a member of the Executive Board. He also <br /> reported on the success of the Senior Citizen's Ice Cream Social and the Concert in the <br /> Park on Thursday, June 15, and thanked the volunteers who made the event a success. <br /> CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br /> City Manager Fleming reported on the following: <br /> The Water Meter Replacement Project: All but about 200 meters have been <br /> replaced. Homeowners who have not had their meters replaced are requested to <br /> contact the City and make an appointment to have their water meter replaced. <br /> A Louisville resident called the City Manager with her concerns relative to the <br /> adverse effects of spraying for mosquitoes. He assured her the City will not <br /> spray unless the mosquito counts tested measure high for West Nile Virus. <br /> Mayor Sisk noted people who contact West Nile Virus become very ill. He felt the City <br /> must act on of side of caution and spray when there is a threat of the West Nile Virus. <br /> REGULAR BUSINESS <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1575, SERIES 2010 AN ORDINANCE IMPOSING A THREE AND <br /> ONE -HALF PERCENT USE TAX UPON THE USE, STORAGE, DISTRIBUTION OR <br /> CONSUMPTION OF ANY ARTICLE OF TANGIBLE PERSONAL PROPERTY OR <br />
