RESOLUTION NO. 53 <br /> SERIES 2010 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING A SPECIAL REVIEW USE (SRU) TO ALLOW FOR <br /> PLACEMENT OF SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC ARRAY ON THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE'S <br /> SOUTH WATER TREATMENT PLANT LOCATED AT 1955 WASHINGTON AVENUE. <br /> WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the Louisville City Council an application for <br /> approval of a request for a special review use (SRU) to allow for placement of solar photovoltaic <br /> array on the City of Louisville's North Water Treatment Plant located at 1955 Washington <br /> Avenue; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Staff has reviewed the information submitted and found it, with <br /> conditions, to comply with Louisville zoning regulations, required general and specific design <br /> standards, and the City's special review use criteria and other applicable sections of the <br /> Louisville Municipal Code; and <br /> WHEREAS, after a duly noticed public hearing on August 19, 2010, where evidence and <br /> testimony were entered into the record, including the findings in the Louisville Planning <br /> Commission Staff Report dated August 19, 2010, the Planning Commission recommended <br /> approval of said special review use with conditions: <br /> 1. All existing landscaping impacted by placement of the solar array fields shall be replaced <br /> upon completion of the construction of the project. <br /> 2. Height of structures may not exceed 12 feet from finished grade to top of panel; and <br /> WHEREAS, City Council has reviewed the application, including the recommendation of <br /> the Planning Commission, and finds that it complies with Chapter 17.40.100 of the Louisville <br /> Municipal Code; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Louisville, <br /> Colorado does hereby approve a special review use (SRU) to allow for placement of solar <br /> photovoltaic array on the City of Louisville's North Water Treatment Plant located at 1955 <br /> Washington Avenue, with the following conditions: <br /> 1. All existing landscaping impacted by placement of the solar array fields shall be replaced <br /> upon completion of the construction of the project. <br /> 2.
