<br />Planning Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />JULY 20, 2006 <br />Page 7 of 7 <br /> <br />Staff Comments <br /> <br />Wood advised the Commissioners that the North End Properties has resubmitted for the final <br />review process. There are 350 dwelling units and 65,650 SF of commercial. He also noted that <br />the Performing Art Center had been dropped. <br /> <br />Planning Commission Comments <br /> <br />Lipton stated that the Commission had completed two major goals for the year: downtown <br />building height and sign code amendments. He requested that staff discuss with City Council the <br />possibility of a joint meeting to establish the next set of goals. <br /> <br />Wood reminded the Commission that they would have the HWY 42 Design Standard and <br />Guidelines coming forward in the next few months. <br /> <br />McA vinew inquired if staff knew what happened that caused the closing of Applebee's. <br /> <br />Wood stated that he did not know. <br /> <br />Discussion Items for Next Meeting- <br /> <br />None heard. <br /> <br />Adjournment - McAvinew moved and Loo seconded a motion to adjourn. Lipton adjourned the <br />meeting at 7:45 PM. <br />
