1111111111111111111111 QIlIII 11111111 11111(1111111111 03 104318 <br /> 10/08/2010 10:16 AM RF: $16.00 DF: $0.00 <br /> Boulder County Clerk, CO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 50 <br /> SERIES 2010 <br /> A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE ZARINI HOUSE LOCATED AT 1109 LAFARGE <br /> AVENUE AN HISTORIC LANDMARK <br /> WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council an historic landmark <br /> application for the Zarini House, located at 1109 Lafarge Avenue, on property legally <br /> described as Lots 3 4, Block 3, Barclay Place, City of Louisville, State of Colorado; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Staff and the Louisville Historic Preservation Commission <br /> have reviewed the application and found it to be in compliance with Chapter 15.36 of <br /> the Louisville Municipal Code, including Section 15.36.050 (A), establishing criteria for <br /> landmark designation; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Louisville Historic Preservation Commission has held a properly <br /> noticed public hearing on the proposed landmark application and has forwarded to the City <br /> Council a recommendation of approval; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has duly considered the proposed landmark <br /> application and the Commission's recommendation and report, and has held a properly <br /> noticed public hearing on the application; and <br /> WHEREAS, the building was constructed in 1909, and has not been significantly <br /> altered since that time; and <br /> WHEREAS, the building has social significance because of its association with <br /> the Zarini family, whose members made significant contributions to the development of <br /> the City throughout the twentieth century; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that these and other characteristics specific to <br /> the individual structure are of both architectural and social significance as described in <br /> Section 15.36.050 (A) of the Louisville Municipal Code and justify the approval of the <br /> historic landmark application. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> 1. The proposed historic landmark application for the Zarini House is hereby <br /> approved and is hereby designated an historic landmark to be preserved <br /> as such. <br /> Resolution 50, Series 2010 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> cot- 1 L4 I. <br />
