Historic Preservation Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />September 20, 2010 <br />City Hall <br />749 Main Street <br />7:00 <br />PM <br />Call to Order <br /> – Chairperson Mike Koertje called the meeting to order at 7:01 PM. <br />Roll Call <br />: <br />Commission Members Present: <br />Mike Koertje, Peter Stewart, Heather Lewis, Laurel Tofte, and Melanie <br />Julian Muckle <br />Commission Members Absent: <br />Steve Poppitz and Steven Williams <br />City Representatives: <br />Sean McCartney, Principal Planner <br />Troy Russ, Director of Planning and Building Safety <br />Approval of Agenda <br />McCartney asked to modify the agenda to allow for 1131 Jefferson Avenue (Item VI) to <br />be heard later. The applicant had contacted staff stating they would be late but would <br />still plan to attend the meeting. Lewis moved to approve the modified agenda, Stewart <br />seconded the motion. It was unanimously approved. <br />Approval of Minutes August 16, 2010 <br />Stewart moved to approve the minutes, with minor changes, Lewis seconded the <br />motion. It was unanimously approved. <br />Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda <br />Jean Morgan addressed the commission regarding two items: <br /> Update on McAlpine Letter <br /> Update on Hecla Mine Casino building <br />Lewis stated there was no new information on the Hecla Mine Casino building. <br />Koertje stated he would work on the McAlpine letter. <br />Public Hearing – Landmark Application – 501 South Street <br />City of Louisville <br />Planning and Building Safety Dept. 7 <br />49 Main Street Louisville CO 80027 <br />303.335.4592 (phone) 303.335.4550 (fax) www.ci.louisville.co.us <br /> <br />
