City Council <br />Study Session Summary <br />October 26, 2010 <br />Page 2of 2 <br />Mayor Sisk encouraged Council to give staff direction at a future regular council <br />meeting on which approach to pursue. <br />Update/Discussion –Louisville Housing Authority <br />Louisville Housing Authority members made a short presentation about their <br />work and presented an overview of the senior, family and handicap accessible <br />housing in the City of Louisville. Sheri Marsella, Council representative to LHA, <br />talked about the good working relationship the City has fostered with Boulder <br />County, and she pointed out interesting and helpful facts concerning the <br />individual properties. Mayor Sisk thanked Sheri for her work, and the Mayor <br />thanked the members for their work to understand and provide affordable <br />housing in Louisville. The Mayor reminded the group not to neglect the interior of <br />the units. The group verified that interior upkeep is on a schedule. <br />Update/Discussion –Solar Equipment Lease/Purchase Agreement <br />Tom Phare, Director of Public Works, discussed withCouncil cost information <br />from proposals from two different vendors for the lease/purchase of solar <br />equipment for the 3 water treatment plants for Louisville <br />The subject of leasing solar power equipment will be discussed at a future <br />regular council meeting. <br />City Manager’s Report <br />City Manager, Malcolm Fleming, presented the council meeting advanced <br />agenda and briefly reviewed some of the upcoming agenda items. <br />Meeting adjourned at9:15p.m. –Next Study Session devoted to Board and <br />Commission Interviews. <br />
