West-bound Dillon at the City Boundary between 95 Street <br />and Highway 287. <br />Item VII on Agenda <br /> – The Board discussed our progress on our Secret Shopper <br />evaluations. We will continue to keep moving forward with those evaluations. <br />Item VIII on Agenda <br /> – Update on the action item regarding investments needs <br />at Coal Creek Golf course was discussed. <br />Item IX on Agenda <br /> – City staff input received from the recent Parks & Rec focus <br />group meetings as related to the golf course future needs. <br />1. Joe Stevens stated that they will be sending out a survey for Parks & Rec. <br />2. Joe Stevens also summarized the focus group meetings for the board and <br />discussed some of the general trends. <br />Item X on Agenda <br /> – Update on Current Projects <br />1. Eric Jensen presented pictures of the recently purchased new golf course <br />equipment and discussed each piece and its benefits with the board. <br />2. The investment by WGP for this equipment is $600,000. <br />3. The new equipment is very versatile and offers a green footprint and is an <br />awesome investment for Coal Creek Golf and the community. <br />Item XI <br /> – City staff update on effort to secure GCAB meeting attendance from <br />another municipality golf course director or parks & recreation leadership. <br />1. Joe Stevens tentatively has Fossil Trace to present at our November <br />meeting. Joe will confirm with the GCAB board when it is finalized. <br />Item XII – <br /> Discussion on proposed update to City Council <br />1. The board discussed what we would like to have in our power point <br />th <br />presentation to the city on December 14, 2010. <br />2. Ken will email the board the Power Point presentation for our feedback <br />prior to the next meeting. <br />Discussion Items for Next Meeting <br />1. Discuss items for City Council Meeting. <br />2. Presentation from Fossil Trace of Flatirons. <br />3. Quick review of the Golfer Concern List. <br />4. Discuss evaluations and visits with other golf courses. <br />Adjourn <br /> – The meeting was adjourned at 8:20. Cary Tengler motioned.
