Approval of agenda: Members approved the agenda, vote 4 to 0 <br />V. Approval of minutes for the November 15, 2023 regular meeting: <br />Members approved the minute, vote 4 to 0 <br />VI. Public comments on Items Not on the Agenda: No public comments <br />VII. Approval of Designation of Places for Posting of Notice of 2024 Public <br />Meetings: Members approved Places for Posting, vote 4 to 0 <br />VIII. Approval of 2024 Meeting Dates & Location: Members approved Dates & <br />Location, vote 4 to 0 <br />IX. Distribution of 2024 Open Government & Ethics Pamphlet: Members <br />approved packet, and reviewed Museum's Code of Ethics - no additional <br />comments, vote 4 to 0 <br />X. Distribution of 2024 Rules of Procedure: Members reviewed and <br />approved Rules of Procedure, vote 4 to 0 <br />XI. Report from Louisville History Foundation board representative, Jen <br />Henderson (3 minutes): Jen reported on the Museum's SCFD grant <br />funding and taking over the Membership program from the Foundation <br />which was a new process in 2023. <br />XII. Report from liaison from the Historic Preservation Commission (3 <br />minutes): No report <br />XIII. Updates on Museum — Gigi Yang, Museum Services Supervisor: <br />A. Budget updates: <br />Museum has SCFD funding which will focus on collections and accessibility <br />of collections to support community engagement, Museums for Digital <br />Learning project, staff are applying to participate in a program with MDL to <br />create online educational content. The Museum is looking at CIP planning <br />for floors and wall painting and other maintenance needs in 2024-2026. <br />B. Museum buildings and campus: Museum will be repairing the <br />chimney of the Jacoe store and is working on re -organizing the <br />collections and storage space. Peter Stewart Architecture is <br />continuing evaluation of the Trott -Downer cabins and will be making <br />recommendations. <br />C. Museum Services Supervisor's written report: New and old <br />HMAB members are invited to schedule a tour of the Museum. Two <br />HMAB members are invited to participate in the strategic planning <br />workshop with Museum staff. David Hosansky and Rebecca <br />Ferguson volunteered. <br />D. Updates on Museum operations & projects: The Pioneer Award <br />will be given to Ed Helmstead at the Chamber of Commerce <br />
