THE BENEFITS OF CITIZEN -DRIVEN <br />INNOVATION <br />The Sustainable Neighborhoods Program leverages the combined power of <br />citizen -driven participation with structured tools, technical advice, and leadership <br />coaching. <br />Combining resident passion and expertise with staff guidance results in innovative <br />problem -solving, strengthens community cohesion, and builds strong relationships <br />between residents and local government. <br />Going beyond a typical resident "pledge" platform, the Sustainable Neighborhoods <br />Program uses a combination of online tools and direct neighborhood engagement <br />techniques to realize tangible and measurable results. <br />MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS <br />Sustainable Neighborhood Network members are provided with the training, <br />resources, technical assistance and frameworks to successfully implement the <br />Sustainable Neighborhoods Program in their community. Membership provides <br />local governments with: <br />• License to utilize the Sustainable Neighborhood Program design, credit <br />system, collateral and trademark, <br />• Access to the SNN project reporting and tracking platform, <br />• Technical assistance for program administration and project implementation. <br />• Community engagement and implementation frameworks, best practices, <br />and leadership development opportunities for both government staff and <br />residents of member communities, and <br />• Connection and engagement with the expanding network of member <br />communities. <br />SUSTAINABLE NEIGHBORHOOD NETWORK <br />
