PPLAB Council Work Plan - Follow-up <br />Please review the council work plan - we will review this in April <br />XI. Parks Division- 2025-2030 Capital Improvement Requests - Review and Action item (to be considered) <br />Memo and 5-year capital improvement request in the packet in draft form. The Parks team is still refining the request, <br />the deadline is 3/8/24. <br />Abby's focus is on 37 submittals under parks. Trying to program across the next 5 years. <br />• Discussion topics among PPLAB, discussed pros and cons of various projects on the multi -year budget. <br />• Discussed drainage on Enrietto and convert to synthetic turf. Board not in favor of synthetic. <br />• Discussed office space renovation in 2024 and 2025 <br />• Discussed technology upgrades, GPS tracking of equipment, irrigation software and weather stations, <br />• Irrigation upgrades <br />• Replacement of existing fleet <br />• Critical Operations <br />• Which items are critical operations? <br />• Equipment replacements, fleet <br />• Council priorities - fire mitigation, economic vitality <br />• 8 strategic areas, sustainability, efficiencies <br />• Outdoor amenities <br />• Pickleball courts could come off given the development of pickleball courts by a local business. <br />• Tennis court at Centennial is a quick win between multi -use fields, aligns with council priorities <br />• "Tennis Court Expansion" <br />8 <br />
