•
•
City of Louisville
Building Inspection Dept.
September 15,1992
To Whom it May Concern;
On this day I met with Mr. Mike Patrick of 630 Cleveland Ave.
concerning a project to add on to his garage. The addition would
be located on property line on that side of his property. This
would mean that he would need to have a one hour fire wall and no
openings in the wall on property line or less than three feet from
property line. Also we discussed any existing egress windows that
might be covered over by this project. Mr. Patrick stated that
there are no windows that would be removed or blocked by this
project. I also asked if any easements existed in this area to
which Mr. Patrick stated no, just front and rear easements exist.
This also is shown to be true by the plat map. We then discussed
fire separation walls between the garage and dwelling areas. Mr.
Patrick verbally agreed to comply with all requirements per codes.
The only issue remaining is the issue of proper setbacks per
the subdivision/area where Mr. Patrick lives, as proposed this
project does not meet those requirements. Thus the side setback
variance request. If I may be of further assistance please feel
free to contact me.
Sincerely,
-7/
Stan V. Griep
Building Inspector/Plans Examiner
City of Louisville
# 666-6565 ext. 151
