MEMORANDUM <br />TO: MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL <br />FROM: SHARON ASTI-CARANCI <br />ACTING CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />DATE: November 1, 1994 <br />SUBJECT: Resolution No. 62, Series 1994 - Approval of a Temporary Subdivision <br />Directional Sign for Waneka Landing. <br />ORIGINATING DEPARTMENT: PLANNING DEPARTMENT <br />SUMMARY: <br />The request if for CC&W Investments (Waneka Landing Subdivision) to construct a permanent <br />monument sign on the Seventh-Day Adventist Church property, located at Pascal Drive and <br />Highway 42, which is within the city of Louisville. <br />LOCO IP fu �., t 7L4aet <br />The copy on the sign would initially provide directional information to Waneka Landing for two <br />years. After the two years, the copy on the sign would be changed to provide a permanent <br />identification for the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. <br />The proposed ,12-.S'square foot sign complies with the maximum 15 square feet allowable for a <br />church bulletin sign. However, the Louisville Municipal od restricts subdivision directional <br />signs to 10 sqeet per sign face. — 1 C. cw ct. cgv. <br />15�si�G ��) <br />The Planning Commission held a public hearing on October 11, 1994 and approved the request <br />7:0 with the following two conditions; <br />1. The sign may be used for a subdivision directional sign only until November 15, 1996. <br />It shall revert to only a church bulletin sign after that date; <br />2. The existing subdivision directional sign shall be removed upon installation of the new <br />sign. The existing church sign shall be removed upon conversion of the new sign to <br />church use. <br />RECOMMENDATION: If the Council desires to approve the requested temporary subdivision <br />directional sign, ACCEPT A MOTION TO APPROVE RESOLUTION NO. 62, SERIES 1994. <br />LIf Council wishes to add conditions, they should be noted in the motion. <br />L <br />SUBJECT AGENDA ITEM <br />Resolution No.62, Series 1994 <br />Temporary Subdivision Directional Sign <br />Waneka Landing Subdivision <br />CITY OF LOUISVILLE <br />
