XCEL ENERGY PARTNERS IN ENERGY Memorandum of Understanding Implementation Phase Business Sector • B-1 Business Research o Provide utility data and suggestions for supplemental data sources to inform graduate student -led research to develop a more detailed baseline of Louisville's commercial sector (e.g., age and type of building equipment). o Review and provide feedback on student -led commercial sector research. o Support the development of a business community survey. o Support Louisville in evaluating program/policy options to support additional commercial decarbonization. • B-2 Business Advisement o Connect Boulder County PACE and Xcel Energy and facilitate the development of a coordination process for providing decarbonization assessment services (e.g., Boulder County PACE electrification advisory services, Xcel Energy Business Assessment services, Xcel Energy Fleet Electrification Advisory Program) to businesses. o Support general and targeted engagement efforts to connect businesses with decarbonization assessment services. o Lead the development of a data collection process to summarize decarbonization assessment results in a manner that protects data privacy of participating businesses. o Summarize available decarbonization assessment data to inform the Business Research strategy. o Facilitate conversations with City staff to identify opportunities to support additional commercial decarbonization, based on the results of the Business Research and Business Advisement strategies. Support funded by Xcel Energy for this strategy is not to exceed 75 hours. These hours will include those provided through our Partners in Energy team from Brendle Group and do not include support provided by Xcel Energy internal program staff. Protect Management, Reimbursed Expenses and Bonus • Coordinate implementation kick-off. • Facilitate monthly check -in meetings with project management team, including scheduling, setting agendas, facilitating, and taking and sending notes. • Lead annual tracking and reporting of strategy implementation progress and progress toward targets. • Connect the City with Partners in Energy Network offerings (e.g., webinars, events). • Provide up to $2,500 for reimbursed expenses related to printing and distribution of co - branded marketing materials, venue fees, food, and other related needs associated with outreach and education. Xcel Energy funding will not be provided for the purchase of alcohol. • Provide a stipend of up to $500 to support a mobile home resident or local community organizer to engage with mobile home residents.
