XCEL ENERGY PARTNERS IN ENERGY <br />Memorandum of Understanding <br />Implementation Phase <br />Business Sector <br />• B-1 Business Research <br />o Provide utility data and suggestions for supplemental data sources to inform <br />graduate student -led research to develop a more detailed baseline of Louisville's <br />commercial sector (e.g., age and type of building equipment). <br />o Review and provide feedback on student -led commercial sector research. <br />o Support the development of a business community survey. <br />o Support Louisville in evaluating program/policy options to support additional <br />commercial decarbonization. <br />• B-2 Business Advisement <br />o Connect Boulder County PACE and Xcel Energy and facilitate the development of a <br />coordination process for providing decarbonization assessment services (e.g., <br />Boulder County PACE electrification advisory services, Xcel Energy Business <br />Assessment services, Xcel Energy Fleet Electrification Advisory Program) to <br />businesses. <br />o Support general and targeted engagement efforts to connect businesses with <br />decarbonization assessment services. <br />o Lead the development of a data collection process to summarize decarbonization <br />assessment results in a manner that protects data privacy of participating <br />businesses. <br />o Summarize available decarbonization assessment data to inform the Business <br />Research strategy. <br />o Facilitate conversations with City staff to identify opportunities to support additional <br />commercial decarbonization, based on the results of the Business Research and <br />Business Advisement strategies. <br />Support funded by Xcel Energy for this strategy is not to exceed 75 hours. These hours will <br />include those provided through our Partners in Energy team from Brendle Group and do not <br />include support provided by Xcel Energy internal program staff. <br />Protect Management, Reimbursed Expenses and Bonus <br />• Coordinate implementation kick-off. <br />• Facilitate monthly check -in meetings with project management team, including scheduling, <br />setting agendas, facilitating, and taking and sending notes. <br />• Lead annual tracking and reporting of strategy implementation progress and progress <br />toward targets. <br />• Connect the City with Partners in Energy Network offerings (e.g., webinars, events). <br />• Provide up to $2,500 for reimbursed expenses related to printing and distribution of co - <br />branded marketing materials, venue fees, food, and other related needs associated with <br />outreach and education. Xcel Energy funding will not be provided for the purchase of <br />alcohol. <br />• Provide a stipend of up to $500 to support a mobile home resident or local community <br />organizer to engage with mobile home residents. <br />
