XCEL ENERGY PARTNERS IN ENERGY Memorandum of Understanding Implementation Phase o Identify key community partners (e.g., residents of Parco Dello Zingaro or other trusted community liaisons) to lead engagement. Clarify roles and responsibilities for those partners. o Lead the organization and delivery of one mobile decarbonization listening session for Parco Dello Zingaro residents, including identification of a venue, childcare, and interpretation services. o Participate in conversations to identify opportunities for additional City -led action to support mobile home decarbonization. Business Sector • B-1 Business Research o Coordinate with graduate students to lead commercial sector research. Research activities will include development of a more detailed baseline of Louisville's commercial sector (e.g., age and type of building equipment), map of results to inform areas to target for commercial electrification studies and incentives, summary of public health and co -benefits of decarbonization, and potential policy levers for the City to consider. o Lead development and administration of a business community survey. o Lead integration of research results to inform program/policy direction. • B-2 Business Advisement o Identify one or more engagement leads from the City to business outreach and engagement. o Provide Spanish translation and interpretation services to support assessments for Spanish-speaking business or property owners. o Identify key business liaisons or champions by business sector, who can help the City connect with businesses. o Lead outreach efforts to businesses to garner sign ups. o Attend decarbonization assessment walks. o Participate in conversations to identify opportunities for additional City -led action to support business -sector decarbonization. Protect Management • Participate in coordination and attendance of scheduled check -ins, activities, and events. • Provide Xcel Energy an opportunity to review marketing materials to assure accuracy when they incorporate the Xcel Energy logo or reference any of Xcel Energy's products or services. • Share the plan document, supporting work documents, and implementation results from the Community Decarbonization Plan with the public.
