NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ORDINANCE No. 1870, SERIES 2024 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Louisville, Colorado, to be held on March 19, 2024 at the hour of 6:00 p m., at Louisville City Hall, 749 Main Street, Louisville, Colorado 80027 or in an electronic meeting, the City Council will hold a Public Hearin? on the final passage and adoption of a proposed AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE VACATION OF THREE EASEMENTS LOCATED ON LOT 1 DEDICATED BY THE EMPIRE ROAD SUBDIVISION. ORDINANCE NO. 1870 SERIES 2024 AN ORDINANCE RENAMING THE ARTS & CULTURE ADVISORY BOARD AND AMENDING THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE TO REFLECT THE SAME WHEREAS by Ordinance No. 1862-2023, City Council changed the name of the Louisville Cultural Council to the Louisville Arts & Cul- ture Advisory Board ("Board"); and WHEREAS, the Board has requested that City Council change the name of the Board to the Louisville Cultural Advisory Board; and WHEREAS City Council by this ordinance desires to change the name of the Board and to amend the Louisville Municipal Code to reflect the name change. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: Section 1. The Louisville Arts & Culture Advisory Board Is hereby re- named the Louisville Cultural Advisory Board. Section 2. Section 2.20.010.B3 of the Louisville Municipal Cade is hereby amended to read as follows (words to be deleted stricken; words to be added underlined): Sec.2.20.010 Establishment of boards and commissions. B. The following boards, commissions, and committees of the City are hereby recognized and confirmed: 3. Arts & Culture Cultural Advisory Board; Section 3. Section 2.20.070 of the Louisville Municipal Code is here- by amended to read as follows (words to be deleted stricken; words to be added underlined): Sec.2.20.070 Arts & culture Cultural advisory board. A. There Is created and established the Arts & Culture Cultural Advisory Board for the City. B. The Board shall consist of members appointed by the City Council in number and for terms as shall be as set by resolution of the City Council. C. The Board shall serve in an advisory capacity to the City Coun- cil in matters related to the arts and culture. The powers, duties, and responsibilities of the Board shall be as set forth by City Coun- cil resolution. Section 4. The following definition In Section 14.20.020 of the Louis- ville Municipal Code Is hereby amended to read as follows (words to be deleted stricken; words to be added underlined): Sec. 14.20.020. - Definitions. For purposes of this chapter, the following words or phrases shall have the following meanings Cultural council means the Louisville Cultural Advisory Board Coun- cil. Section 5. If any portion of this ordinance is held to be invalid for any reason, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remain- ing portions of this ordinance. The City Council hereby declares that it would have passed this ordinance and each part hereof irre- spective of the fact that any one part be declared invalid. Section 6. All other ordinances or portions thereof Inconsistent or conflicting with this ordinance or any portion hereof are hereby re- pealed to the extent of such Inconsistency or conflict.
