<br /> RESOLUTION NO. 1 <br /> - <br /> Series 1985 <br /> A RESOLUTION urging that all action necessary is taken to <br />assure the completion of the Environmental 1m pac t Statement for the <br />Metro Water Projects. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Louisville, in cooperation with other <br />me tropo 1 i tan water providers, has contracted with the Board of Water <br />Commissioners of the City and County of Denver for the performance of <br />a combined System-wide and Site-specific Environmental 1m pac t <br />Statement for certain water projects to provide for the future water <br />needs of the City of Lou isv ille and the Denver Metropolitan Area <br />generally; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the study was to have been completed no later <br />than March of 1986 in order to allow for the timely development of <br />those water projects; and, <br /> WHEREAS, it has been indicated that completion of the <br />described Statement may be delayed for a period of up to one year and <br />the City Council of the City of Louisville has determined that such a <br />delay may cause potential hardship to the City of Louisville and <br />it's citizens. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br />That Richard D. Lamm, Governor of the State of Colorado, through the <br />Metropolitan Water Roundtable and otherwise, and the U.S. Army Corps <br />of Eng ineers, take all action necessary to assure completion of the <br />combined System-wide and Site-specific Environmental 1m pac t Statement <br />for the Metropolitan Water Projects in a timely manner so as to pro- <br />tect all persons affected by said study. <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 5th day of February, 1985. <br /> ~;J4 <br /> Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />~~AA<~ <br />City Clerk <br />
