<br /> RESOLUTION NO. 6 <br /> Series 1985 <br /> A RESOLUTION OPPOSING THE ADOPTION <br /> OF HOUSE BILL 1360 CONCERNING THE <br /> CREATION OF VESTED PROPERTY RIGHTS. <br /> WHEREAS, the Colorado State Senate is considering the <br />adoption of House Bi 11 1360 which would create a new doctrine of <br />vested property rights and interfere with citizen's rights to <br />initiative; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Louisville, <br />Colorado believes such a doctrine would greatly hinder the orderly <br />growth and planning of the City of Louisville; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council believes that members of the <br />State Legislature should be urged to vote against the adoption of <br />said bill. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> That the City Council hereby goes on record in opposition <br />to House Bi 11 1360 and urges all municipal officials and other <br />citizens to contact their State Senators and Governor Lamm requesting <br />that said bi 11 be defeated. <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS _~~ day of Apr i 1, 1985. <br /> ~ <br />ATTEST: <br />~~ <br />City Clerk <br />
