RESOLUTION NO. 65 <br />SERIES 1999 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDED FINAL PUD DEVELOPMENT PLAN <br />& SPECIAL REVIEW USES FOR THE VILLAGE SHOPS AT COLONY SQUARE, <br />LOTS 1 THROUGH 4 AND THE WEST ONE-HALF <br /> OF THE VACATED 80TM STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY, <br /> COLONY SQUARE SUBDIVISION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the Louisville City Council, a request for <br />approval of an Amended Final PUD Development Plan & seven Special Review Uses (SRUs) for <br />the Village Shops at Colony Square, Lots 1 through 4, Colony Square Subdivision, and adjacent <br />portions of the vacated west one-half of the 80~h Street right-of-way; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, all materials related to the Amended Final PUD Development Plan & SRUs <br />have been reviewed by City Staff and the Planning Commission and found, with conditions, to be <br />in compliance with the Louisville zoning ordinances, subdivision regulations, related policies and <br />previous approvals; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after a duly noticed public hearing concerning said Amended Final PUD <br />Development Plan & SRUs, the Planning Commission recommended approval to the City Council, <br />with conditions; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant has revised the application in response to the Planning <br />Commission's conditions and City Council finds that said Final PUD Development Plan should be <br />approved, with the following conditions: <br /> <br />That the off-site, Comfort Inn sign, as detailed on the drawing submitted by Hartronfl-Fauri <br />Architects provided as Exhibit 'A' to this Resolution, shall be modified and incorporated into the <br />revised PUD subject to the following criteria: <br /> <br />· The sign shall be located at the southeast corner of the development, with a minimum lO-foot <br /> setback from the east property line <br />· The sign shall be set back a minimum of 8-feet from the utility located in that general area. <br />· Sign letters shall be individual, reverse pan-channel letters, with white illumination. <br />· Sign letter faces shall be opaque, and reflect the Comfort Inn corporate colors. <br />· The off-site Comfort Inn sign is authorized for the use of Comfort Inn only. <br /> <br />The relocation of tree (s), or any other modifications to the approved Village Shops at Colony <br />Square Final PUD Landscape Plan for the purpose of locating the Comfort Inn monument sign <br />shall be approved in advance by City staff. No trees or other landscape materials on Parcel S-3 <br />shall be relocated. <br /> <br /> <br />
