He asked me what I was going to do about it. I told him Iwould have to request that he reduce the height to 42" and that we should check to se• if the location of the fence was legal according to the Ordinance. He said he would not move the fence under any circumstances. Ile were joined by E . Greenway who voiced er objections very heatedly. She introduced herself as the Daughter of Council -Woman Ivan L1'iieux and said they had checked with Vivian as.._tothe requirements of the fence and were informed that they should kespthe fence 6 or8.riches behinnd.._theL____. sidewalk but as far as she was aware there Were _ ,no _other _restrictions Buck came down to the office where he _read the Zoning Ordinance relating _to fences and he agreed that I had informed him properly_ but that he had noiatention of moving the fence. ( I have since checked the location of the fence and in.,the absence of a survey it appears to be properly located).
