City Council Work Plan — connections with PPLAB <br />Review 2024 Louisville City Council Work Plan Revised 1/9/24 in meeting packet <br />- Purpose of Review is to continue alignment with Council Priorities and <br />understand PPLAB implications. Consider for future meetings and plans. <br />- Note: Council "High Priority items are numbered with an "H" — e.g. 1H, 2H". <br />PPLAB related implications, discussion noted below: <br />1H. Comprehensive Plan <br />- Long-range plan for Parks will fall under Comp Plan <br />- Survey and Open House responses from the community <br />- Open Houses will continue <br />2H. Strategic Land Use <br />- Watch for any Parks involvement; e.g. Red Tail Ridge, other spaces that may <br />include park space <br />3H. Open Space Management <br />- Open space manager position posted last week <br />- Will be looking to asset management soon <br />- Unirrigated Park lands - we manage in alignment with Open Space <br />Department and in line with fire mitigation and other recommendation <br />(e.g. by Rec Center and Fire Station); keep in sync with Open Space on <br />management of these spaces <br />- 2C implementation: Parks' implications are re: budget splits, (50/50), also <br />revenue estimates and actuals from tax collection. <br />4 <br />
