Local Licensing Authority <br /> Minutes <br /> August 23, 2010 <br /> Page 3 of 3 <br /> making its way into the establishments on Main Street. He didn't want this <br /> activity to jeopardize the licensees on Main Street. He wanted the Authority <br /> aware in case there need to be considerations made in future years. <br /> Lanphere reported he was hearing positive comments from peers and citizens <br /> concerning the patios and sidewalk dining in the downtown area. <br /> Lanphere stated there will be seller /server training on Sunday, August 29 in <br /> Lafayette. <br /> Secretary's Report <br /> Secretary Hanson reported on the inclusion of the latest copy of the Louisville <br /> Liquor Lore in the packet. She stated she and Matt Machado attended the Study <br /> Session with City Council. Council was also supportive of the changes with the <br /> patios and sidewalks downtown. Machado reported he talked to Council about <br /> the positive impact of the relationship the police department has established with <br /> the licensees. <br /> Wilson thanked Secretary Hanson for the article in the Liquor Lore on the <br /> happenings downtown and for the reminder on the age requirements for servers. <br /> Authority Attorney's Report <br /> No report. <br /> Authority Comment <br /> Carlson reported there has been a Task Force put in place at the State Capital to <br /> modernize the liquor laws in Colorado. He told the Authority he would keep them <br /> posted. <br /> Adjourn Carlson moved to adjourn. Machado seconded. All in favor.
