Call to Order: Chair Dickinson called the meeting to order at 1:32 PM. <br />2. Roll Call: The following members of the City Council were present: Chair <br />Dickinson and Councilmember Fahey. Also present were Community <br />Development Director Rob Zuccaro, Economic Vitality Manager Vanessa <br />Zarate, Economic Vitality Specialist Austin Brown, and City Manager Jeff <br />Durbin. One member of the public was in attendance. <br />3. Approval of Agenda: Councilmember Fahey made a motion to approve the <br />agenda as presented. The motion was seconded by Chair Dickinson. Motion <br />passed. <br />4. Approval of Meeting Minutes from April 25, 2024: Councilmember Fahey <br />made a motion to approve the March 15, 2024 meeting minutes. The motion <br />was seconded by Chair Dickinson. Motion passed. <br />5. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda: <br />None. <br />6. Louisville Business Composition: <br />Manager Zarate gave an overview of the business makeup within Louisville. <br />She noted that Louisville has more than 1,600 businesses and 20,000 <br />employees. She added that Louisville's business mix generally aligns with <br />Boulder County's targeted industries, which include Aerospace, Bioscience, <br />Cleantech, IT/Software, Natural Products, Outdoor Recreation, and Research <br />Economy. <br />Louisville's top industries by employment are Professional, Scientific and <br />Technical Services, Manufacturing, Health Care and Social Assistance, and <br />Food Service and Retail.
