City Council Meeting Minutes November 28, 2023 Page 10 of 11 Councilmember Hamlington agreed the timeline should go into the New Year to get a fair and equitable process. It is not reasonable to have a submission deadline before the end of the year. Mayor Pro Tern Dickinson agreed with the timing. He would like Council to discuss the appointment criteria and make sure it is a transparent process. Members appointed Councilmembers Kern and Fahey to write the questions for the application. Members also agreed on a mid -January deadline.
