Participating Communities: (Boulder, Louisville, Lafayette) <br />• Identify tree planting opportunities/sites on public lands. <br />• Select tree planting quantities, species, sizes, etc. based on community characteristics. <br />• Coordinate with PLAY to schedule planting days <br />• Identify water tank filling locations for CFC crews (ideally close to planting sites) <br />• Outline additional activities for CFC crews (mulching, weeding, pruning, etc). <br />• Collaborate with PLAY Boulder to develop Tree Tender community training sessions in <br />Louisville and Lafayette to establish volunteer working groups (Southwest Hub is a <br />potential location). <br />Budget Sources: <br />PLAY Boulder Foundation: (approximately $45,000 from external grants and fundraising) <br />• $15,000 - Plant Materials <br />• $870 - Tools, Equipment, Work Gear <br />• $1,090 - Uniforms <br />• $900 - Miscellaneous (food, drink, etc. for trainings, site visits.) <br />• $400 - Classroom Supplies <br />• $9,500 - C4CA Curriculum & Training Development <br />• $1,000 - Urban Heat and Urban Forestry Instructor Support <br />• $1,000 - Nature -based Solutions Expertise - Instructor Support <br />• $10,000 - Employer of Record & Program Management <br />• $5,200 - Staff Wages <br />Boulder County OSCAR: <br />• $120,000 to the PLAY Boulder Foundation: <br />o $2,000 - Plant Materials (trees, shrubs, mulch, compost, etc.) <br />■ Additional $5,000 from alternative source* <br />o $5,020 - Program Materials (van/trailer rental, food, etc) <br />o $9,500 - C4CA Curriculum & Training Development <br />o $15,000 - Employer of Record & Program Management <br />o $88,480 - Staff Wages <br />Participating Communities: <br />• Boulder: <br />o $50,000 for CAPA Strategies heat data collection, analysis & engagement <br />o $70,000 for Program Materials, CFC crew wages, Plant Materials <br />• Louisville: <br />o $5,000 for CFC crew wages <br />• Lafayette: <br />
