Phoro by 8d! hxry. <br />Rose and William Marinelli had two sons, Ernest (1936-2011) and Ronald Marinelli (1938-1951). A <br />Louisville Times article in 1951 reported Ernest and Ronald Marinelli as the first cases of polio in <br />Louisville since 1949. Tragically, Ronald passed away that year at age 13. Ernest, age 15, had a milder <br />case and recovered.
