City of Louisville Planning Department
M
EMORANDUM
To:
LRC Commissioners
From:
Gavin McMillan, AICP, Planner II
Subject:
Downtown Parking and Pedestrian Action Plan
Date:
December 13, 2010
INTRODUCTION
th
At the December 13 LRC meeting, Planning Staff will lead a discussion of the
Downtown Parking and Pedestrian Action Plan. The focus of the discussion will
be to determine which projects identified in the plan are top priorities for the
Commissioners. Staff will facilitate an exercise to help gather this information.
A spreadsheet is included as Attachment 1 which outlines the 36 projects
associated with the plan, their respective costs, which of the six measures of
success they meet (Projects which are Accessible, Comfortable, Connected,
Convenient, Engaging, and Vibrant), and what their effect on short and long term
parking is. Slides from a power point presentation which give an overview of
each project are included as Attachment 2. Commissioners should refer to the
PowerPoint slides if they are unsure what a certain project on the spreadsheet is.
Staff will also be available to answer questions at the meeting.
ATTACHMENTS
Attachment 1: Project list
Attachment 2: Power Point slides of potential projects
749 Main Street · Louisville, CO 80027 · 303.335.4592 · FAX 303.335.4550
www.ci.louisville.co.us
