PARKS & RECREATION NEWS
•
•
•
•
•
•
WHAT IS HAPPENING AT
HERITAGE PARK?
H eritage Park is getting a bit of a facelift this
year with dollars from the Colorado Lottery.
Upgrades include a new stone cap for the retaining walls
and seat walls throughout the plaza, refreshed landscap-
ing and irrigation repairs, new entry stairs and handrails,
new mini shelters with seating, upgrades to the concrete
flatwork throughout the plaza, new bike racks, and new
edger for the sand volleyball court.
The park, which opened in 1985, has stood the test
of time with a tremendous amount of use from the
community.
