Call to Order - Mayor Charles Sisk called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />City Council: <br /> <br />Mayor Charles Sisk, Council members: Sheri Marsella, Ron <br />Sackett, Dave Clabots, and Bob Muckle <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />Mayor Pro- Tem Don Brown and Council member Frost Yarnell <br /> <br />Staff Present: <br /> <br />Bill Simmons, City Manager <br />Heather Balser, Asst City Manager for Governmental Relations <br /> <br />2. Update - US 36 EIS <br /> <br />A power point presentation was given reviewing the history of the US 36 Draft Environmental <br />Impact Statement (DEIS) and the National Environmental Protection Act (NEP A). There was <br />also discussion on the separation of the rail and highway studies and the alternatives for <br />consideration in the DEIS. Lastly a schedule was presented for the completion of the DEIS <br />and the Northwest Rail study.
