Omcityof Louisville ECONOMIC VITALITY COMMITTEE COLORADO • SINCE 1878 SUBJECT: MEETING DATE AND TIME DISCUSSION DATE: AUGUST 16, 2024 PRESENTED BY: VANESSA ZARATE, CECD, ECONOMIC VITALITY MANAGER SUMMARY: The Economic Vitality Committee currently meets on the third Friday of every month at 1:30 in the afternoon. This can pose problems for attendance as Friday afternoons can be busy with events and attendees and staff can be out of the office. Staff reviewed the time of all other board and commission meetings, as well as City Council meetings and found that the below times do not overlap with anything else should the Committee wish to amend the date/times of the EVC meetings. • Monday — Meeting times Available from 8 a.m. through 5 p.m. o Historic Preservation- Third Monday at 6:30 p.m. o Recreation Advisory- Fourth Monday at 6:30 p.m. o Local Licensing Authority- Fourth Monday at 6:30 p.m. • Tuesday — Reserving for City Council • Wednesday — Meeting Times available 8 a.m. through 5 p.m. o Parks and Public Landscaping Advisory- First Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. o Open Space Advisory- Second Wednesday at 7 p.m. o Louisville Revitalization Commission- Third Wednesday at 8 a.m. o Cultural Advisory Board- Third Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. o Board of Adjustment- Third Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. o Sustainability Advisory- Third Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. o Historical Museum Advisory- Third Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. (odd months) • Thursday — Meeting times available 8 a.m. through 3 p.m. o Youth Advisory- First Thursday at 6:30 p.m. o Planning Commission- Second Thursday at 6:30 p.m. o Library Board of Trustees- Second Thursday at 6:30 p.m. (odd months) o Finance Committee- Third Thursday at 4 p.m. • Friday — Reserving to alleviate current attendance with a Friday meeting. FISCAL IMPACT: There would be no fiscal impact to a meeting date change. RECOMMENDATION: EVC review and provide staff feedback ATTACHMENT(S): None.
