Enclave Park Updates: <br />Summary of Revisions: <br />1) Plaza and seating design adjustments <br />• Plaza size reduced to lower concrete costs and allow playground to shift west, <br />maximizing grass play space <br />• Tiered seating reduced from 3 tiers to 2 as part of revised site grading and to lower costs <br />2) Civil Engineering and drainage adjustments <br />• Topographic elevation of plaza and playground lowered to reduce amount of earthwork <br />fill needed and associated impacts to water storage capacity of drainage basin <br />• Grading plan reflects additional earthwork needed for drainage basin capacity, <br />excavating bottom of drainage basin to account for minimum water holding capacity <br />needed <br />3) Landscape plans revised to reflect above changes to plaza, tiered seating and earthwork <br />4) No changes to previously reviewed play equipment or shade shelter <br />Input Needed: <br />1) Opinions on revised designs for final, minor revisions <br />2) Review of landscape plantings and plans <br />3) Board confirmation that project should continue towards final pricing <br />Sunflower Park Updates: <br />Summary of Revisions: <br />1) Simplified circulation pattern <br />• Removal of rock steps to Sunflower street due to public/board input and cost concerns <br />• Removal of crusher fines trail along northwest property boundary to increase grass play <br />space and simplify layout <br />• New concrete path width reduced from 6' to 5' to increase grass play space and reduce <br />costs. <br />• New concrete path alignment adjusted to better maintain existing trees <br />2) Seating plaza shifted south <br />• maintains one additional existing tree west of sidewalk <br />• increases buffer between residence to west <br />• Creates an 'upper' play space with flat turf area and small stump scramble feature <br />3) Stump and boulder scramble features at west of site shifted to center of site to align with <br />walkway topography and increase buffer to adjacent residences <br />4) Earthwork and grading <br />• Grading adjusted to ensure ADA compliant walkway and create flatter grass play area <br />5) Landscape plans revised to reflect above changes to pathway circulation and overall layout <br />• Tree plantings shifted to provide increase shade in park and screening to residences <br />Input Needed: <br />1) Opinions on revised layout for final, minor revisions <br />2) Review of landscape plantings and plans <br />3) Board confirmation that project should continue towards final pricing <br />
