a. The LBOT supports the Library staff as needed and participates in outreach <br />activities to promote the Library. Many of these activities are recurring each <br />year, including: <br />i. Advocacy — One the LBOT's most important role is advocating for the <br />Library and its programs to the residents of Louisville and Superior, and <br />to the City Council and Town Board. <br />ii. Little Libraries —The LBOT coordinated the construction and installation <br />of several Little Libraries and regularly supplies books and maintenance <br />to them. <br />iii. First Fridays —The LBOT helps support library staff during First Friday <br />events hosted by the library. The event in December is especially <br />popular! <br />iv. Staff Luncheon — Every year the LBOT provides a lunch for staff and <br />volunteers after the Summer Reading Kickoff Carnival in appreciation of <br />all their hard work. <br />v. Holiday gifts - The LBOT provides small holiday gifts for staff. <br />6. LBOT Bylaws <br />Maintenance of this Document <br />This handbook is intended to be reviewed at least annually by the LBOT to ensure all <br />information is current, useful, and accurate. The library staff will review the handbook at least <br />annually to update technical details and ensure all embedded links are current. <br />
