Sustainability Advisory Board <br />Meeting Minutes <br />June 12, 2024 <br />White House Conference Room <br />717 Main St. <br />6:30 PM <br />Call to Order — Todd Budin, LSAB Chair called the meeting to order at 6:32pm <br />Roll Call was taken and the following members were present: <br />Board Members Present: Todd Budin, Josh Cooperman, John Cowley, Allison Kay, Kevin <br />Lombardo, and Tiffany Boyd (virtual). <br />Staff Members Present: Hannah Miller and Samma Fox. <br />Approval of Agenda — <br />Allison moved to approve the agenda; Josh seconded the motion. <br />Approval of Meeting Minutes — <br />Allison moved to approve the meeting minutes; Kevin seconded the motion. <br />Public Comments — <br />There were no public comments. <br />Sub -Committee and Board Member Updates - <br />Kevin said he rode his bike on Via Appia Way to the meeting and felt it was very safe. <br />Megan Ottesen stepped down as an LSAB member. Her position will remain vacant for the next <br />few months. There will be an opportunity to apply for the vacant board member position in <br />December. Current LSAB members should encourage people they think will be a good fit to <br />apply for this position. <br />Administrative Tasks - <br />John to write the next Sustainability Spotlight on Solar Farms, due June 15. The Sustainability <br />Division will write the August Sustainability Spotlight. <br />Staff Update — <br />Josh asked about the Residential Building Materials Waste Diversion Program and how it <br />works. Hannah responded that people can scan a QR code to fill out a form and submit an item <br />for pick-up approval. Then, on Tuesdays, Resource Central will pick up the item. This program <br />is expected to launch in mid -July. John asked if there is a flyer about the program that he can <br />send to his HOA. Hannah said she will check on this. <br />
