Approval of agenda: Members approved the agenda, vote 6 to 0 <br />IV. Approval of minutes for the March 20, 2024 regular meeting: Members <br />approved the minutes with the correction of the call to order time changed <br />from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM, vote 6 to 0 <br />V. Public comments on Items Not on the Agenda: None <br />VI. Report from liaison from the Historic Preservation Commission, <br />Sloane Whidden: Sloane reported, that she and Gigi participated in <br />presenting plaques to the last round of homes landmarked in the city <br />VII. Report from Louisville History Foundation board representative, <br />Gordon Madonna: No report <br />VIII. Updates on Museum — Gigi Yang, Museum Services Supervisor, and <br />Sharon Nemechek, Director of Cultural Services: <br />A. Museum staff intro — Hadley Kluber Seifert — Collections <br />management: Hadley introduced herself to the Board, talked about <br />her background, and reported about her duties at the museum. At the <br />moment Hadley is working on updating the collections catalogue for <br />the location and the condition of the museums objects. <br />B. Budget updates: The 2025 budget request for the museum is going <br />to include moving all the part time associates to full time employees. <br />The SCFD budget is being spent on conservation projects like <br />repairing the menu, getting the Rex curtain relocated, building on the <br />education collection materials creating finding aids and working on <br />the outdoor spaces on the campus. The Museum is interviewing for <br />two interns over the summer to work on collections, and for outreach <br />and education. Peter Stewart is still working on the Miners cabins, his <br />next report is due in June for the expenses for restoring the cabins. <br />C. Museum buildings and campus: Plans are moving forward on <br />getting the chimney on the Jacoe store repaired, and having Ed <br />Helmstead to touch up the signs on the Jacoe store as well. <br />D. Museum Services Supervisor's written report: No additional <br />information from written report <br />E. Updates on Museum operations & projects: <br />i. Code of Ethics — AAM: The Board went over the AAM code <br />of ethics and the museum will work on creating their own <br />unique code of ethics. <br />F. Approval of Deeds of Gifts from donors: <br />The HMAB members approved the deeds by vote of 6 to 0, for the <br />following donations: <br />
